Plasmatreat North America (PTNA) is a subsidiary of Plasmatreat GmbH, headquartered in Steinhagen (Bielefeld), Germany. PTNA became one of the first subsidiaries abroad for Plasmatreat for the purpose of working with customers in the NAFTA region and has grown to three main offices and several satellite locations.
The Plasmatreat Group has technology centers in Germany, USA, Canada, China, and Japan. With its worldwide sales and service network, the company is represented in more than 30 countries by subsidiaries and sales partners.
Elgin, IL
Our North American Headquarters is located in Elgin, IL. Opened in 2009, this location is conveniently located within 30 minutes of O’Hare airport, right off the I-90 Interstate. Our headquarters houses all business operations including finance, marketing, customer service and support. Additionally, it provides application development for clients in various industrial segments with fully equipped lab operations.
Hayward, CA
The Hayward office (Silicon Valley) serves as the North American R&D center. The team focuses primarily on application development for the electronics, medical device, aerospace and EV market. The world-class lab and customer demo space houses the latest Plasmatreat products, as well as a line of test and analytic equipment. The Hayward location is conveniently located close to the San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose airports.
Plasmatreat Canada
The Ancaster office was first established in the year 2000 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and moved in 2012 to Ancaster, ON. From this office, the team coordinates service and support, customization requests, local builds, and works with customers on new Openair-Plasma® applications. The team is supported by excellent resources, including a full 6-axis robot to simulate advanced inline operations and the full line of Plasmatreat products. PTNA staff in Ancaster focus on automotive, packaging and process-oriented customers in the food and medical industries, also supporting university research initiatives.
